How do I begin to describe this pen? This pen is designed to look like a tornado, as the name would suggest it. It has the tapered bottom that is frosted and the twisting line that wraps around the pen all the way to the top of the cap which is nice and flat and gets clearer (like a combination of a streamline and flat top pen). Even the clip goes from being matte to polished, a real nice touch that might not be enjoyed by all, but I sure find it pleasant. This is an exclusive pen made for and sold by Pentime designed in collaboration with Luca Viti from Stipula.
So all in all this pen is great eye candy, but it’s also a wonderful writer. The nib is nice and smooth, writes straight away and offers nice springiness to it (since this is the Titanium version). The feed is a standard Stipula feed that keeps up wonderfully with the writing, the pen is nice and comfortable, perfect weight nice balance. It can be posted, but there’s no need for that as it is a good size as can be seen compared with the Vac 700.
The pen fills like a charm, one stroke gives you 3/4 of a barrel, and with 2 pumps you get a massive barrel full of ink, unfortunately I did not measure the amount it holds but i would say well over 2ml.
I really enjoy using this pen, it’s become one of my favourites really fast, if anybody is interested there is only 18 pens made worldwide, check out Bryant’s website, or for a better deal keep an eye on the his e-bay channel.
