This is a great pen, one of the smoooooooothest pens I’ve use so far…. actually I think it IS the smoothest. I have lots of smooth pens, but this one really feels like a soft glass tip running on a paper. It’s really hard to describe, a different categorie of smoothness.
Anyway, this is quite the pen, really amazing, I was quite lucky to acquire this. Wonderful writing instrument, does not skip, lays down a nice, wet and broad line. Quite amazing :-)
This pen has quickly become one of my favourites.

Don’t know really what else to say, amazing pen, wonderful writing experience. and a real sleek design. Love it :-)

Great revew! It’s very helpful and the pictures are so nice. Could I ask you one more thing? I would love to know if the nib writes thinner (or if it writes at all) if used upside down?

Thank you for stopping by :-)
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I just tried to write on the reverse side, it hardly works, very scratchy and skippy, can’t get a full word writing with the reverse side. Hope this helps :-)
    Cheers.

Thank you so much! It really helps a lot. Too bad it does not work upside down :( I draw with my fountain pens and often use the reverse side for thin lines and details. Your written review still shows quite a nice line variety. There are some fine and some really broad lines so it is still quite tempting…
Thanks once again and have a nice weekend!

I would love to see your work :-)
Yeah this pen can offer some variation because of the stubish nature of the Broad nib :-)
Have yourself a lovely weekend as well :-)

I’ve decided not to buy Carene (…yet). It is really beautiful but I’d probably be a bit disappointed. You really helped me a lot! You can see my work on my blog (ewaludwi.wordpress.com) I ‘ve posted some fountain pen drawings recently :)
    Best wishes,
    Ewa

Yeah, it is quite the investment. If you want something with allot of line variation and somewhat more affordable you can check my review for the Sailor Zoom.

Thanks again for stoping by :-).
    PS: Great artwork :-)
